The Gruesome History Of Mount Everest’s Death Zone



Each year, hundreds of people attempt to climb the 29,029 feet to the summit of Mount Everest. While more than 4,000 have made it successfully, hundreds have perished on the attempt. To avoid becoming one of the fallen, the climbers must fight through incredible weather and temperatures, avoid succumbing to the low atmospheric pressure, and climb a treacherous mountain, including the aptly named Death Zone.
